This year our beloved tradition of celebrating “A Franciscan Christmas” together will be by virtual programming only. We on the Retreat Committee will offer a reflective evening looking at the Christmas carols we sing during this season. We will explore the “back story” of when and how they were created and what they tell us about the story of Christ’s Incarnation. We will listen to them and pray and reflect together on their words, melodies, and meaning.

We trust it will offer all of us a celebratory Christmas experience along with a contemplative retreat moment too as we share together at different moments in the evening about the inspiration we are receiving from these hymns and meditations.
