Remembering and Celebrating the Spirit in the Church
Do we really know and understand why we do what we do these 40 days before Easter? A few years ago I learned about a part of Lent that may be new to you. I learned of a theme, long forgotten by most of us in our tradition, or at least not expressed with the same emphasis that is placed on penance. Join me as we delve into a season rich with life, tradition, and dare I say, a joyful fun.
As we mark the Easter Season, the sacraments invite us to attend to the power ad presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives and in the experience of the church. How we understand, name and claim the action of the Spirit can lead us to see opportunities for growth, challenge, and prayer to encounter new life in Christ.
Presented by Father Kevin Nadolski, OSFS
Our Monday night mini-retreats are three-hour sessions that include a full meal (6:00 p.m.), presentation, prayer, and discussion (7:00 p.m.) and night prayer and blessing (9:00 p.m.)
The donation for these mini-retreats is $30.00 per person.
Please register for these mini-retreats at least one week before the event so that we can arrange the needed space, produce the necessary hand-outs, and prepare the special meals for all who come. All are welcome! More info: stfranrh@rcn.com 610.258.3053 x 10
