Description
Hazard, yet Forward!
Elizabeth Ann Seton’s life could easily be the fabric of an exciting novel, but the truth of her life of faith and the determination of this first American-born Catholic Saint inspired young women of her day to follow her and it continues to inspire us today.
Join Sister Patricia Dotzauer, SC and learn more of what led Mother Seton to an ever-deepening relationship with God and to a life of love and service.
The Seton family worked in the shipping industry and they faced numerous treacherous voyages on the sea. Appropriately, the motto on the Seton Coat of Arms was, “Hazard, yet forward.” Sister Dotzauer reminds us that that motto befits the Sisters of Charity today, and she is eager to engage us in the journey. This is an event not to miss.
