Description
Join us on Friday October 15 @ 12 PM. AFP will be presenting "Uncovering the Process Around Earmarks and Partnership Development to Secure Government Funding." Earmarks now being called “Community Project Funding” have been around for many years but have been mostly accessible to those non-profits with means and connections to influence the receipt of these dollars. Recently new earmark rules promoting effective and efficient spending and complete transparency have been put in place. Erin Meegan the Deputy Chief of Staff & Legislative Director from Congresswoman Susan Wild’s office and Joseph M. Uliana of J.M. Uliana & Associates will be joining us to discuss public funding and the development of relationships to assist non-profits as they consider applying for these public dollars.
