Friday the 13th will be extra frightening this year with the coming of the Witches’ Ball for Charity to be held at the Comfort Suites University at 120 W. Third Street beginning at 8 p.m.

Guests should come in their best Halloween costumes for this fundraising event that benefits the Star of Bethlehem Festival for Kids, a free event for Lehigh Valley children of all ages that takes place each June in Bethlehem.

Guests must be 21 years of age or older and prizes will be awarded in various costume categories.   Food, beer, soda and water are included with a pre-purchased ticket, and a cash bar will be available for wine and spirits.

Music will be provided by “Girl Crue”. Magic will be provided by “Magician Magic Mike Montgomery” and a special appearance will be made by “Mary the Witch”, the hostess of the original Witches’ Ball.
