YWCA Bethlehem will celebrate the accomplishments of local women and teens at our 45th Annual Women and Teens Ceremony on Thursday, August 13, 2020.  This beautiful evening honors special women and girls who truly give of themselves to enrich the lives of others.  Questions, please call us at (610) 867-4669, ext. 101.

 

The YWCA will present four awards. The Golden Laurel recipient is Shirlee Neumeyer; Mission Award recipient is Khine Zaw; Women of the Year recipients are Kelly Chando, Karina Kane, Ronda Senior, and Ann Marie Supinski; and Teens of the Year recipients are Bianca Crespo, Onabele McFadden, Gabriella Palermo, Zoey Reifinger, and Grace Taylor.

YWCA Bethlehem
YWCA Bethlehem was established in 1927 and in its 90-year history the organization has provided for girls, women and families in the Bethlehem Community. The organization has a rich history which includes teaching English to immigrants in the 30s and hosting voter registration drives and voting machine demonstrations for women in the 40s. In the 1960’s YWCA Bethlehem opened the city’s first nursery school and in 1984 opened the first Adult Day Services Center in Northampton County.
