Lehigh Valley Anti - Human Trafficking Awareness Week is a seven-day awareness campaign, held during the first week of November. The campaign provides an opportunity to raise awareness of human trafficking and modern slavery, and encourage government, local authorities, companies, charities, and individuals to do what they can to address the problem.
Wednesday, November 6th: The Lehigh Valley Anti-Trafficking (LVAT) Week Collaborative is holding its first-annual Community Awards Breakfast to honor four individuals who have made significant contributions to our community’s battle against human trafficking.
2019 Honorees:
- Defender Award: James B Martin, Lehigh County District Attorney
- Frontline Award: Ho’onani (Nani) Cuadrado, MSPAS, PA-C Director, LVHN Street Medicine
- Protector Award: Stefanie Snyder, Special Agent, Homeland Security
- Awareness Award: Teri Haddad, Ph.D., Producer, Emmy Award-Winning Close to Home Documentary
